Volume 1 Volume 2 Volume 3 How to order Home

Hi!

Playing for dancers for 25 years has taught me many things - how to make music "dance" being one of them - and the importance of giving teachers and students the best possible musical support in their ballet class. I use melodies from opera, ballet, classical and popular music,
to ensure a variety of music to accompany the exercises and inspire.

I hope you will enjoy dancing to the music on these CDs as much as I enjoyed playing the piano!

Margot Kazimirska has played for the dancers of the Frankfurt Ballet for the past 17 years. She has also played for several other ballet companies, including the Dutch National Ballet, the Royal Ballet, and Northern Ballet Theatre. Margot has played for some "Legends in our Time" such as Dame Ninette de Valois, Dame Alicia Markova (performing Dame Alicia's production, of Fokine's "Les Sylphides"), Andre Prokovsky, and Egon Madsen.

As a solo pianist, Margot has performed many other pieces for ballets, especially on tour with N.B.T. and with the Frankfurt Ballet. In current repertoire with
the Dutch National Ballet and the Frankfurt Ballet she performs the magnificent full-length ballet "Artifact" by William Forsythe.
